JOB DESCRIPTION
- Will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures using various materials such as bricks, concrete blocks, and natural stones and floor and wall tiles.
- To maintain and repair masonry / civil job around the hotel i.e. public area and Guests’ rooms’ area.
- Carries out all tiles – grouting and blocking and the rest of the civil works within the Hotel.
- competent in performing/repairing high-quality floor and wall tile installation as well as other masonry-related tasks.
- carries out the preventative maintenance plans assigned by the maintenance engineer or supervisor for masonry projects.
- Maintain and fix current masonry constructions.
- Carry out routine and preventive maintenance in the hotel rooms on a daily basis.
- Attend to any arising maintenance calls with promptness and efficiency.
- Follow the preventative maintenance plan and make sure that all the equipment and places that are assigned to you are maintained to the necessary standard.
- support the program’s adoption of energy conservation.
- Suggest energy conservation and system enhancements for maintenance.
- Keep all tools, machinery, and workspaces in good shape.
- Maintain current technical training knowledge and abilities.
REQUIREMENTS
- A certificate in a specialized field such as masonry / Civil.
- Current working knowledge of general maintenance and engineering work.
- Experience in the Maintenance Department of a large hotel, hospital, restaurant, building construction, complex or similar.
- Strong work ethic.
- A passion for delivering great customer service.
- Ability to work without close supervision and within established timeframes
