JOB DESCRIPTION
Internal Communications:
- Create and distribute internal newsletters, memos, and announcements.
- Assist in creating internal invitations for Town Halls.
- Maintain and update the PR section on the intranet.
- Ensure timely and relevant updates are posted on the intranet.
External Communications:
- Assist in the development and execution of external communication plans to enhance the firm’s brand and reputation, including client newsletters and alerts.
- Draft and edit press releases, articles, and other external communications materials.
- Support the management of media relations, including maintaining media contacts and coordinating interviews and press conferences.
- Keep an eye on and report on trends in the industry and media coverage.
- Work together with the events team to produce eye-catching invites and marketing collateral.
- Encourage reporting and follow-up after the event.
- Track and evaluate communication data, including engagement metrics and open rates.
- Maintain distribution lists and communication databases in collaboration with the CRM team.
- Respond to general questions and correspondence about communications-related matters.
- Help the PR & Communications Manager oversee the Law Update project by gathering legal articles and approving them for release.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey messages clearly and effectively.
Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all communications.
Organised: Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Team Player: Collaborative, able to work effectively with colleagues across different departments, and contribute to team goals.
