JOB DESCRIPTION

• Logistics Operations Management:
  • Monitor and track shipments from allocation date until the transportation movement is completed from origin warehouses to the final destination point.
  • Coordinate with transportation companies, third-party logistics providers, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Ensure all goods are delivered on schedule, from loading to delivery at warehouses or retail stores.
  • Manage store deliveries, returns, and stock transfers, ensuring transportation utilization is maximized.
  • Oversee local warehouse inbound and outbound operations for all product categories.
  • Ensure inventory management, including monitoring expiry dates at local warehouses.
  • Maintain daily movement trackers with milestones for goods in transit, store deliveries, and storage status with third-party logistics providers.
• Compliance and Documentation:
• • Obtain any shipping papers required by the shipment’s specifications.
  • Work together with the compliance division to make sure shipments adhere to legal specifications.
  • To guarantee that goods are cleared and delivered on schedule, collaborate with clearance agents.
  • Respect all supply chain regulations, guidelines, and procedures.

     

    Reporting on finances and performance:

     

  • Create stock, cost, and supply chain performance reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Keep an eye on and guarantee adherence to all supply chain regulations and guidelines.
  • Before sending vendor invoices to the finance department for processing, make sure they match the terms that were agreed upon.
  • Report and handle supply chain problems or disruptions, and when necessary, handle compensation claims.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum Experience:
  • 3-6 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in a multichannel retail environment.
  • Experience managing air and sea freight, including handling dry and perishable goods.

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, flexible, and able to adapt to changing business needs.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (English and Arabic), with the ability to coordinate across various stakeholders.
• Ability to take initiative and drive results, meeting financial and operational KPIs.
