JOB DESCRIPTION
- Perform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations and structural inspection.
- Interface with client and contractors to determine and verify project survey requirements.
- Complete the surveying requirements on schedule and within man-hour and cost budgets.
- Verify the layout and elevations. Verify the locations of services and make sure they are secure.
- Create drawings to aid with the fieldwork. Keep track of all survey data, including field notebooks, drawings, and computations.
- When necessary, measure the work completed.
- Follow the site’s safety protocols.
- help in the “as-built” drawing preparation process.
- As instructed by the project safety representative and resident engineer, behave responsibly and take part in all health and safety-related matters at the site.
- Execute any additional duties related to this role as they become available.
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc in Engineering or Technical diploma in engineering
- Minimum of 8 years or 5 years if BSc with experience in lighting and infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge and/or experience in using CAD software and survey software, total station, data collectors and GPS equipment.
- Working knowledge of construction sequences and standard work procedures of the industry.
- Must have a Survey Card issued by ADM.
