JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Coordinate closely with the Procure to Pay (P2P) team to ensure all submitted invoices are processed and posted without delay.
  • Address vendor queries regarding the status of invoices and payments, ensuring high levels of vendor satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
  • Review all month-end journal vouchers, confirming that expenses are recorded correctly to maintain accurate financial reports.
  • Make and post debit notes for bottlers and make sure that the company’s financial statements correctly show these transactions.
  • Take care of both manual and urgent payment requests, as the business needs.
  • Making and sending in bank reconciliation statements to make sure that all activities match up with bank records.
  • Work with the GL Team to help clear the balance sheet and keep the accuracy of the financial records.
  • Every month, look over your running costs and open Purchase Orders (POs) to make sure that old POs are closed on time and your finances are correct.
  • Help the manager fill out and send in the Dubai Branch’s quarterly Value Added Tax (VAT) returns while following the rules for local taxes.
  • Match up the VAT General Ledgers with the VAT returns, then make and send in the VAT return journal ticket that goes with it.
  • Prepare and send requests for VAT refunds to the tax officials. This will make sure that the company follows tax laws and gets the most money back possible.
  • Support the Legal Entity Controller at all times and help with different tasks that improve the organization’s general financial health and compliance.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Account Reconciliation, and general finance operations.
  • Strong understanding of VAT regulations and the ability to handle VAT returns and reconciliations proficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle queries from both internal teams and external vendors.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
