Inventory Controller – Logistics in Dubai UAE

Strategic Roles and Responsibilities

  • Custodian of Business inventory and responsible for overall inventory management operations.
  • Responsible for warehouse storage space optimization, ABC analysis, heat map analysis and implementation
  • Review and keep an eye on how bad the damage is in the WH, and come up with a plan to lessen the effects of what happened while the warehouse is receiving and sending goods.
  • Make sure that all product transactions are done on time and correctly.

Functional Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct investigation of inventory discrepancies identified during cycle count or picking and take action to rectify the discrepancies within the timelines.
  • Oversee the entire process of stock transfers inter warehouse, warehouse to store and store to warehouse, ensure the movements are recorded and updated to reduce discrepancies.
  • Keep track of all WH logs, credit notes, RTV changes, and send them to FSS.
  • Let the CN, RTV, Write-off and general change through the system, and then send a report to finance.
  • Manage the perpetual stock take calendar with the help of selected managers and the stock take team.
  • Talk to the business’s inventory managers to get monthly data on losses, and then write and share the final report.
  • Take care of identifying products that are about to go bad and sharing awareness reports with everyone who needs them.
  • In order to keep the company’s actions up to high quality standards, you will be in charge of getting rid of or recycling old and expired goods at each warehouse.
  • Oversee the process of doing a physical stock count, go over the results of the stock count with management, and make sure the numbers add up by checking the moves of physical stock.
  • Write up reports based on what you’ve found and give management advice and ideas.

People Management Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coach and motivate reportees to enhance performance and produce quality standards and outputs, ensure that they are continuously developed and provided feedback.
  • Review Operational processes from a risk management perspective; identify and qualify new areas of risks and escalate concerns to the site HSE committee.


  • Graduate with excellent knowledge of warehousing & inventory management
  • 3-5 years of experience in warehousing & inventory management with knowledge in ecommerce retail environment


  • Computer Literacy and excellent MS excel skills
  • Highly organized with eye for details
  • Preferably Good knowledge in Oracle – WMS
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Good analytical skills
