JOB DESCRIPTION

  •  Assist Store keeper to handle stock and inventory control activates.
  •  Assist in checking and receiving of goods into stock and placing items onto the shelf/stock location
  •  Help in examining and monitoring any damage or inconsistencies found on received merchandise.
  •  Physical stock withdrawal, stock location retrieval, packaging, and shipping for item issuance.
  •  Help set up the delivery and pickup of supplies and equipment as needed.
  •  Help the storekeeper with purchase requests so that the inventory is prepared.
  •  Physical stock inventories and periodic reviews.
  •  Help in keeping an eye out for and identifying surplus, non-moving, and broken or outdated materials and items.
  •  Help with the upkeep of all documents pertaining to store management and inventory control.
  •  Take over the storekeeper’s and assistant storekeeper’s duties in his absence.
  •  Any extra work the department head assigns
  •  Verify adherence to the company’s environmental, health, and safety policies, guidelines, and practices.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  •  Diploma or Equivalent
  •  1 to 2 year experience in a similar position with relevant responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS

  •  Communication skills – English/ Arabic
  •  MS office skills. Team work/ Interpersonal skills
