JOB DESCRIPTION
- Menu Development: Create and develop a diverse menu featuring dishes from various international cuisines, ensuring high quality and creativity.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, maintaining consistency and presentation.
- Ingredient Management: Locate, pick, and utilize the freshest ingredients possible while keeping an eye on stock levels and effectively handling waste.
- Kitchen Management: Keep an eye on the workers in the kitchen and make sure everything is neat, orderly, and productive.
- Quality Control: Keep an eye on the appearance and quality of the food to make sure that every dish satisfies restaurant requirements.
- Health and Safety: Keep a clean and hygienic kitchen and follow all health and safety rules.
- Customer input: Consult with patrons to get their opinions and make adjustments to the menu and level of service.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a chef, with a focus on international cuisines. Previous experience in a high-end restaurant or hotel is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of various international cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Strong creativity and a passion for developing unique and diverse dishes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing customer preferences.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
