JOB DESCRIPTION

• Knowledge of basic engineering processes
• Familiarity with international codes, standards and engineering practices
• Thorough knowledge of onshore/offshore design engineering for the oil, gas and water fields.
• To provide designs and check to ensure they are accurate and in line with defined requirements.
• Hands-on experience on the following HSE deliverables
  • Hazardous Area Classification Layouts
  • Fire & Gas Detector Layouts
  • Fire Protection and Life-saving Equipment layout
  • Passive Fire Proofing Layouts
  • Escape Route and Safety Sign Layouts
  • Piping & Instrumentation diagrams
  • Process Flow Diagrams
• arranging for layout drafting coordination with other centers and safety engineers
• Organize and communicate with consultants and clients regarding any modifications and feedback, and make sure that these are approved before being incorporated into the design.
• to assist the Lead Engineer in meeting deadlines and budgets for design projects.
• to offer assistance in deciding on the project brief, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and keeping track of the project’s development.
• Verify that the design complies with company policies and procedures, BU requirements, and best practices.
• to mentor junior employees on technical issues and design procedures
• To make sure the design is accurate, comprehensive, and complies with the scope of work criteria, keep an eye on how their team members are performing.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma of Engineering (Preferable)
• Minimum 5 years of Oil & Gas Design Experience.
• Working experience in AUTOCAD and MicroStation
