JOB DESCRIPTION
Assist and support management and the leadership team with handling and resolving Human Resources issues. Assist employees with internal and external transfer requests and procedures. Monitor and assist managers/supervisors with hiring processes and issues. Coordinate and conduct applicant drug screens, reference checks, background checks, motor vehicle checks, and social security number verification.
Keep records of the application flow, drug test results, orientation, and transfer requests. Input new hire and personnel files into Human Resources Information Systems and keep them up to date. Help with the new employee orientation process. Keep an eye out for compliance with all local, state, and federal laws as well as company policies and standards during the recruiting and recruitment procedures. Make sure that all employee files and records—such as I-9s and interview transcripts—are kept up to date. As needed, assist with the processing and upkeep of payroll records in compliance with policies and procedures. Report any problems with employee relations within the division or property to the Human Resources management. Establish and manage filing systems. Create data reports for Human Resources as needed. Return calls, take messages, and record them. Use a computer to type and create office correspondence.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None
