JOB DESCRIPTION

• Diagnosis, repairs and maintenance of swimming pools, fountains, water systems, filter systems, pumps, heat pumps and related equipment.
• Maintain the proper chemical balance for the pools, fountains and portable water system
• Maintains the pH and  Chlorine values for good water quality
• Maintain all the pools and all water features using proper chemicals and cleaners as per Schedule
• Keep the pool area maintained, which includes cleaning the deck and performing other upkeep duties.
• maintains and fixes mechanical and electrical devices.
• evaluates and makes necessary adjustments to the chemical levels in swimming pools and other water systems.
• Lighting both above and below the water’s surface
• inspecting and fixing any corrosion, cracks, or leaks in the walls or floors of the pools and fountains
• Use a digital test kit to measure the following water quality parameters in pools and fountains: pH, Chlorine, Total Alkalinity, Calcium Hardness, Cyanuric Acid, and Total Dissolved Solids. Record the results every day.
• Collaborate closely with the housekeeping division to complete the daily pool cleaning duties recording and informing managers of equipment malfunctions or issues with the quality of the water

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 1-year experience in the same role
• High School Degree or similar
• General knowledge of proper pool cleaning and maintenance methods
• General knowledge of swimming pool chemicals and their properties
• Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting and equipment repairs
• Ability to lift heavy equipment
• Ability to work with adverse weather condition
