JOB DESCRIPTION
Process all guest check-ins, verifying guest identity, form of payment, assigning room, and activating/issuing room key. Set up accurate accounts for each guest according to their requirements. Enter your Marriott Rewards details. Verify that rates correspond with market codes and record any deviations. Before a room key is issued, secure payment and check or modify the invoice. Create and examine daily logs, reports, and contingency lists. Finish the closure and cashier reports. Give instructions and property details to visitors. Respond to inquiries from visitors, getting in touch with the right personnel if needed. Verify that requests have been fulfilled by following up. Handle all forms of payments, vouchers, payouts, and levies. Drop receipts and balance them. At the start and finish of each shift, count and safeguard the bank. Obtain authorizations by hand and adhere to all accounting protocols. Report any thefts reported by visitors to Loss Prevention/Security.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- License or Certification: None
