JOB DESCRIPTION

• Welcome guests as they arrive, introduce yourself, and take their orders.
• Serve food and drinks to guests, ensuring that each order is prepared correctly and delivered in a timely manner.
• Respond to guest requests and ensure that all special requests are met.
• Throughout the meal, check in with visitors to make sure they are happy with the cuisine, service, and ambiance.
• Keep the dining space tidy and orderly by arranging the tables and chairs, mopping and dusting the floors, and washing the dishes and cutlery.
• Manage payments, which includes issuing receipts, processing credit card transactions, and producing change.
• Collaborate with the bar and kitchen workers to guarantee that every order is made accurately and delivered on time.
• Make menu item recommendations based on the dietary requirements and preferences of your customers.
• Keep food and drink supplies stocked, replenishing as necessary.
• Verify that every food and drink satisfies safety and quality requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Knowledge of food and beverage industry standards and regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
