JOB DESCRIPTION

Department Management and Store Standards

Maximize department sales and productivity metrics in line with shop targets

Monitor key data reports on space management, sales and stock movement against last year, last week and budget on a daily and weekly basis and communicate to staff

Ensure and monitor all stock is laid out and displayed according to standard layout norms (product placement, signage, neat and well folded, arranged in order from smallest to largest, hanged items must be steamed, brand wise, size wise etc)

Ensure and monitor all products are price tagged and bar-coded before display

Make sure to keep an eye on all stock transactions to make sure they are promptly, precisely, and appropriately classified on the system.
Assure and keep an eye on constant security awareness and vigilance in the store of corporate assets, customer property, and company goods without being careless.
Make sure that the store always maintains the highest standards of hygiene and health.
Optimize floor space according to inventory availability, storylines, and product sales. Make sure departmental décor is appropriate and that displays, branding, and departmental arrangement are consistent.
Check products for quality assurance and report any flaws.
Make sure that all soiled and broken goods are cleared on time, and that random product pricing checks are finished on time.

Observe and carry out events and sales promotions at the stores.
