JOB DESCRIPTION
-Review project proposal and pertinent documents with project & management team.
-Determine the most cost effective construction methods and use of personnel, material, equipment and subcontractors
-Review and approve subcontractor selections and invoicing
-Coordinate construction activities with the client, subcontractors and Company personnel
-Manage project staff, including assigned support staff, supervisors, engineers, foreman, and technicians
-Promote, enforce and establish safety as a priority as part of the Company’s QHSC policy
-Oversee and give guidance to the budget estimates, purchasing, engineering, accounting, cost, and construction departments in relation to the project’s completion.
-To support construction activities, initiate, build, and maintain working connections with suppliers, engineers, clients, and subcontractors.
-At regular, prearranged intervals, arrange, lead, and represent the organization at project coordination meetings.
– Examine and authorize vendor and subcontractor payments.
-Negotiate, draft, issue, and carry out change orders (proposals) to clients, the design team, subcontractors, and other parties; also, draft adjustments to the initial budget in response to work modifications.
– Assure accurate and on-time accounts receivable and billing.
-Make sure that the project is completed on schedule by planning ahead, managing material and document submittals and approvals, and accelerating material deliveries.
-Take the lead and engage in projects with regular deadlines.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
-Bachelor of Engineering ( Mechanical/ ELectrical) from any recognized universities
-7-10 plus years of experience managing large instrument and MEP construction projects
