JOB DESCRIPTION

•  Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities on site, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
•  Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.
•  Lead and mentor a team of skilled laborers and tradespeople, providing clear instructions and guidance to enhance productivity and performance
• To track developments, spot possible problems, and carry out remedial measures as needed, conduct routine site inspections.
• Make certain that every task is finished in compliance with regional construction codes and specified quality standards.
• Oversee the distribution and application of resources, such as personnel, supplies, and machinery, to maximize project effectiveness.
• Keep thorough logs of all daily site operations, including labor hours, supplies used, and tools used, and update project management on developments.
• Conducting safety briefings and making sure that health and safety rules are followed are two ways to implement and enforce safety measures to create a safe working environment.
• Encourage communication amongst clients, suppliers, and subcontractors in order to guarantee agreement and quickly resolve any issues.
• Help create project timelines and schedules, making sure that due dates are fulfilled while upholding

REQUIREMENTS

– Proven experience as a Civil Foreman or similar role in the contracting fit-out industry, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in construction management.
– Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations in the UAE.
– Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse workforce.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
– Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
– Proficiency in construction management software and tools, along with basic computer skills in MS Office.
– A valid UAE driving license is preferred to facilitate site visits and meetings.
– Certification in construction safety and first aid is an advantage.
– A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be highly valued.
