JOB DESCRIPTION

• Perform tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
• Greet customers promptly and courteously upon serving.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Accept payments made with checks, cash, credit cards, debit cards, or vouchers.
• As needed, provide clients with receipts, credits, refunds, or change.
• Use suggestive selling to improve the clientele’s experience.
• Handle the cash register with accuracy and speed.
• Continue to approach your task with enthusiasm and creativity.
• Count the cash register’s shift opening balance.
• Retain the cash register tidy and well-maintained.
• After closing the register under the supervisor’s supervision, turn over the balance to the following shift.
• Participate in team meetings and departmental briefings.
• carry out other tasks relevant to the job as designated.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least a high school diploma.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Proficient in English.
• In-depth knowledge of operating a cash register and maintaining a cash drawer.
• Skilled in performing monetary transactions, including giving and receiving change.
• Basic computer knowledge; previous experience with any software is recommended.
• Customer-oriented with a positive attitude and a friendly demeanor.
• High energy levels and a positive outlook.
• A strong team spirit and the ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
