JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Handle the following:
    • Daily reconciliation of store takings & reporting.
    • Forex reconciliation and monitoring of exchange rates.
    • Cheques collection and control.
    • Tally of safe fund daily.
    • Credit Card reconciliation.
    • Gift Vouchers redemption and reconciliation.
    • Banking of the various tender types.
    • Store Petty Cash management.
  • Ensure quality in following the daily/weekly/monthly procedures as well as reporting in a timely manner.
  • Look into cases of Till Discrepancy and let the Cash Office Group Leader and the right offices know so they can take the next step.
  • Give great customer service to people inside and outside the company about small amounts of cash, prices, LPOs, and payments.
  • Make sure that IKEA/AL Futtaim rules and the company’s standard operating procedures are always followed in the Cash office.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-3 years retail cash handling experience, finance & accounting experience preferred
  • Good Knowledge of accounting & Cash handeling.
  • Very good command of English language.
  • Good command of Arabic language is preferred.
  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Advanced proficiency of MS Office Excel and data management tools.
