JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Work closely with Wholesale Banking Group and other stakeholders on new and existing corporate clients in portfolio under management and scope business potential.
  • Proactively arrange and conduct business meetings with prospective clients to promote ADIB’s Retail products and services.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities, customer needs, and market trends.
  • Track and manage the entire contract and agreement process, ensuring timely conversion and fulfilment of client expectations.
  • To track developments and guide strategic choices, keep thorough records of sales, revenue, and other KPIs.
  • Continue to market ADIB’s goods and services while foreseeing and responding to future client goals and needs.
  • Give marketing intelligence on the main rivals to make sure that packages and a competitive offer are in place.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to provide customized offerings that satisfy clients’ unique requirements and uphold Islamic banking norms.
  • Boost the penetration of essential goods within the designated portfolio and use the Lead Management team to route leads to teams that have been labeled.
  • In collaboration with the Customer Excellency team, offer corporate workers in the allocated portfolio an exceptional service level and quick lead conversion (within TAT).

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role, preferably within the banking.
  • Proven experience in customer support, with a strong commitment to client satisfaction and relationship management.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; additional language skills, particularly Arabic, are an advantage.
  • Deep understanding of the market dynamics, especially within the Islamic banking industry.
  • Strong ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of leading teams and driving business growth.
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, capable of making sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with strong command of data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant certifications in Islamic finance is a plus.
