JOB DESCRIPTION
• Co-ordinate the work of subordinates and maintains the established procedures and policies.
• Communicate efficiently with the kitchen.
• Help prepare training programmers for associates.
• Assist Restaurant Manager in training.
• Promote good working atmosphere with emphasis in guiding relations between subordinates.
• Enforce the personal appearance of the associates and punctuality.
• Welcomes visitors, responds to inquiries and concerns as needed, and encourages sales to reach revenue targets.
• Take orders, make menu recommendations, and serve customers’ drinks.
• Engage in conversation with visitors to keep a positive rapport while adding a personal touch.
• Create supply requisitions to keep inventory levels stable.
• Create weekly rosters for duties.
• In his absence, assume the responsibilities of the restaurant manager.
• Complete any other tasks that the restaurant manager assigns you.
• Provide suggestions and ideas for menu planning and food marketing.
• Put the training timetable and programme into action.
• To uphold and adhere to LQA and brand standards
• To consistently assist the direct supervisor in ensuring that the service meets Brand and LQA requirements.
• To guarantee brand and LQA knowledge
REQUIREMENTS
• Experience: Minimum three years’ experience as a Supervisor / Captain, preferably in a luxury or
ultra-luxury environment.
• Education: High school graduate, some college.
