Assistant Payroll Officer Job in Dubai UAE

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Assist Payroll run operations.
2. Provide professional answers of payroll queries to Group’s employees and to ensure any payment issues are properly resolved.
3. Enter payroll deduction data In system like staff miscellaneous deductions, penalties etc.
4. Regularly update payroll records and employee profile data in the system.
5. As needed, work with group business coordinators to arrange for any missing information.
6. Provide payroll statements, such as Statement of Accounts, to the Group’s employees.
7. Help to standardize the ways that the work will be completed.
8. Keep all payroll information private and confidential.
9. Help with the Time Attendance system.
10. Supports group effort by doing relevant tasks as required.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum educational, professional and vocation qualification required
• Graduation in any discipline, preferable in accounts.
• Strong computer skills such as typing, system and software knowledge
• Knowledge of wage withholding orders
• Accurate data entry skills with great attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with employees regarding their issues and concerns
• Being an effective team player
• Ability to multitask in a stressful environment with specific deadlines
• Ability to work independently in a time-sensitive environment
• Confidentiality and respect for the privacy of employee records
Minimum years of relevant work experience
2-3 years’ experience in payroll or accounts position, in the UAE.
