JOB DESCRIPTION
- Process all purchase invoices to sage through the PO
- Reconcile company bank accounts on a weekly basis
- Carry out supplier statement reconciliations monthly
- Adhere to Finance department reporting timetables including preparation of journal entries with supporting back up and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Complete month end tasks as per timetable
- Regular review and monitor aging of Open PO and GRNI Sicon WAP reports with Requisitioners
- Oversee and assist accounts payable processing with the Finance Apprentice
- Review employee expenses
- Finance Administrator to file and retain copies of all incoming invoices
- Process bank payments, control petty cash
- Provide assistance to the Finance department as required
REQURIEMENTS
- Previous experience in a Finance environment
- Strong communication skills in English language – verbal and written
- Ability to work with staff in Finance and non-Finance roles
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable role
