JOB DESCRIPTION
• Analyse the market and the local consumer tastes and preferences and provide recommendations to the Division Manager in customizing the brand offering to suit local requirements.
• Manage and control all aspects of stock management within designated remit ensuring minimal wastage and stock variance.
• Implement and manage Loss Prevention standards as per company policy and make recommendations to Division Manager for improvements.
• Create, develop and implement monthly sales strategies in order to maximise upon promotion opportunities throughout the year.
• Ascertain that all outlets maintain the highest standards of quality. Make sure the outlets’ appearance and feel are maintained regularly and adhere to the principal’s specifications.
• Make sure that the brand portfolio’s efficiency, speed, and highest standards of customer service are implemented while maintaining adherence to internal and principal criteria.
• To guarantee the best possible performance, management, personnel, customer service, back-office management, and cleanliness, visit every outlet on a regular basis.
• Keep an eye on whether local laws and corporate policies pertaining to the food and hospitality industries are being followed. Make sure that all establishments under your jurisdiction follow the stringent legal requirements as well as the set standards for health, safety, and hygiene.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education/Certification and Continued Education
• Graduate
Years of Experience
• 4 to 6 years relevant experience, of which 2 to 3 years experience in a management role
REQUIREMENTS
• Specialized experience in Hospitality industry, retailing and distribution with retail management expertise gained in food / confectionary
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English. Arabic would be an advantage
• Exposure and understanding to regional tastes and preferences
• Excellent people management , communication and interpersonal skills
• Tact, diplomacy and negotiation skills
