Accountant & Office Administrator Job in UAE

The Accountant & Office Administrator is a role responsible for organizing and coordinating accounting & office operations and procedures in order to ensure positive & effective customer experience, organizational effectiveness, efficiency and meticulous record-keeping.


Duties will include a variety of administrative, clerical and financial tasks including, but not limited to, customer service and follow ups, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping and financial reporting, preparation and submission of VAT to the FTA on a quarterly basis, communicating and working with other members of the team, vendors, and customers to ensure day to day operations of the office run in the manner and to the desired standard of the owner. The candidate must be a fast learner and have the ability to handle and prioritize numerous tasks as required by line manager. Construction and building industry experience is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, administration, or similar.

At least three years of accounting experience.

Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word and Outlook.

A solid understanding of financial processes such as bookkeeping and tax filing.

Basic math and numerical skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good organizational and time management skills.

The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.

The ability to collaborate with co-workers, clients, and suppliers.
