JOB DESCRIPTION
- Maintain the assets register (PPE and Intangible)
- Tracking spending on CAPEX project
- Liaise with budget owners in various departments to analyze CAPEX spending
- Perform general ledger reconciliation.
- Assist the Financial Controller with CAPEX forecast
- Analysis of actual vs budget
- Processing of vendor invoices
- Handle financial transactions through banks.
- creates a statement of bank reconciliation.
- helps collect the audit evidence needed for the Group and Subsidiaries’ audits’ substantive testing.
- creates invoices for transfer pricing and makes system entries.
- As instructed, prepares excel files for workings.
- ad hoc work as needed.
- Help the bookkeeping system record accounting transactions (journal entries).
- Monthly produces the intercompany matrix and reconciles the accounts for intercompany payables and receivables.
- aids in the monthly closure procedure.
- invoices are distributed via the D365 system.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, commerce or business-related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting or reporting roles
REQURIEMENTS
- Experience in accounts payable is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make recommendations
- Proficient in the use of MS Office applications (advanced Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience with PowerBI is a plus
- Experience with D365 system is an advantage
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
