JOB DESCRIPTION
Receive and stage merchandise by department, mark appropriately for placement in facility, and deliver merchandise to appropriate department. Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts. Fill out the inventory and supply requisition forms. Inform the manager or supervisor as soon as possible about low stock levels. Accept deliveries, rotate inventory, and appropriately store perishables. Examine delivery schedules and dates to ensure quality, consistency, cleanliness, and freshness across case lots. Refuse to accept products that are flawed, unsatisfactory, or inaccurate. Respect food safety and handling guidelines in all areas pertaining to food. Clean, sanitize, and arrange all food equipment, drains, floors, and freezers and refrigerators. Take out the cardboard, garbage, and empty pallets and put them in the appropriate storage spaces.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
