JOB DESCRIPTION
- Monitor CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems to ensure the safety of hotel guests, staff, and assets.
- Review CCTV footage to detect suspicious activities, threats, or security breaches, and report incidents accurately.
- Regularly inspect surveillance equipment and work with the engineering staff to arrange repairs.
- Work together with hotel departments and law enforcement (Civil Defense, Police, Ambulance) in the event of emergencies like fires, medical crises, or evacuations.
- Help with disaster response by directing responders and evacuation while assisting with crisis management initiatives.
- Protect recorded data by making sure it is stored and accessed securely in accordance with hotel policy and Dubai regulations.
- During significant situations, ensure successful escalation by communicating with the security team in real time.
- Keep abreast of emerging security protocols and technology to improve monitoring and emergency response.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role within Dubai hospitality.
- Education: High School Diploma; SIRA CCTV certification preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
- Technical Skills: Proficient in operating CCTV systems, fire alarm control, and access control systems.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written English skills; other languages are a plus.
- Technology Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting.
- Skills: Observational, analytical, and decision-making skills; ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Integrity: Strong professionalism and adherence to privacy/confidentiality standards.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
