JOB DESCRIPTION
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
• Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis following the LQA and Brand standards in every task daily
• Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
• Clean guest rooms by category priority / assignment.
• Transport cart with cleaning supplies, amenities and linens to assigned guest room and position securely.
• Service assigned guest rooms.
• Empty trash containers and ashtrays.
• Take away all the filthy terry and replace it with a fresh one according to the layout.
• Clean the mirrors, vanity, sink, toilet, shower walls, bathtub, shower curtain, and floor of the bathroom of any filth, grime, soap residue, and hair.
• Replace toilet paper, facial tissues, and bathroom supplies in the appropriate quantity and position.
Examine the state of the bathrobes and swap out any that are dirty or broken.
• Take off the soiled bed linens and replace them with fresh ones.
• Change the slips and washing bags.
• Dust and debris should be removed from check-out rooms’ closets and door tracks. Make sure the luggage rack, spare blanket or pillow, and hangers are positioned and numbered correctly.
• Dust and shine every piece of furniture.
• Adjust furniture to fit the floor plan.
• Open all doors and drawers in check-out rooms and take out any belongings that visitors may have left there.
REQUIREMENTS
• Experience: Minimum one years’ experience cleaning hotel guest rooms.
• Education: High school diploma.
• General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy;
prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of proper chemical handling procedures; familiarity with cleaning
equipment and supplies.
• Language: Required to speak, read and write English, with fluency in other languages preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to exert physical effort, endure various physical movements throughout
