JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop and implement effective parts management strategies to ensure timely and efficient supply of mechanical and electronics spare parts. Analyze parts usage patterns and forecast future demand to optimize inventory levels. Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Source and procure mechanical and electronics parts from suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and negotiate favorable terms. Evaluate and select new suppliers as needed.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technology, or any related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a mechanical production-related role, ideally in the Oil & Gas Industry.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong command of English, knowledge of other languages is plus
- Must be flexible with work hours & timings
- Very good in Technical write up.
- Preferably with electronics or mechanical Engineering background.
- Excellent management and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- ERP, Microsoft office, is a basic requirement for software, having experience in AutoCAD software is an advantage.
