JOB DESCRIPTION
Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels accurately, including stock counts and recording discrepancies to ensure optimal inventory accuracy.
Order Fulfilment: Support order picking, packing, and dispatching activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers.
Warehouse Organization: Help keep the warehouse neat and orderly, including keeping the aisles and storage spaces maintained for a productive operation.
Equipment Operation: Comply with workplace safety regulations by operating warehouse machinery, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, safely and effectively.
Health and Safety Compliance: Make sure that you and your coworkers always work in a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education: GCSEs or equivalent are preferred, but not essential; commitment to ongoing training and development is beneficial.
Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or a similar environment is advantageous; however, we value eagerness to learn and adaptability.
REQUIREMENTS
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items, and the stamina to stand for extended periods.
Technical Skills: Basic computer skills for inventory management systems and record-keeping; experience with warehouse software is a plus.
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure orders are fulfilled correctly.
Teamwork: Strong team player with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to the warehouse team’s success.
