JOB DESCRIPTION

Receive cash or any other authorized modes of payment from customers, issue receipts/ bills against their purchase, reconcile cash / credit receipts with sales figures and prepare daily cash summary report for submission to the Accountant

Be in charge of keeping received cash and/or other pertinent papers safe, and deposit the cash and checks in the bank each day in order to meticulously safeguard business finances.

To provide effective customer service and improve the company’s reputation, professionally answer calls and client inquiries.

To avoid financial mismanagement, keep an eye on how petty cash is being used, only approve payments for authorized items or emergency miscellaneous expenditures, and report accounts to the store manager or deputy floor manager on a regular basis for approval and discipline.

Keep track of the number of customers entering the store and gather pertinent data every day.

REQUIREMENTS

Education/Certification and Continued Education

High School qualification

Years of Experience & Skills

2 to 3 years experience in a similar field

Good communication and interpersonal skills

High level personal integrity

Computer literacy

Pleasant personality and good grooming

Customer service orientation

Highly organised with attention to detail
