Accountant (Arabic Speaker) Job in Dubai UAE

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for month end close.
- Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis, and forecasting.
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures, including as vendor payments, collections, and invoicing.
- In charge of calculating and submitting taxes and VAT.
- Compile and assist with the Economic Substance Regulations (ESR) Submission requirements.
- Help with both internal and external audits, answering audit questions and making sure audit standards are met.
- Analyze financial data and offer insights to help management make decisions.
- Create and put into place internal controls, accounting rules, and processes to guarantee the integrity and correctness of financial reporting.
- Maintain adherence to relevant laws and regulations while staying up to date with accounting standards, best practices, and regulations.
- carries out additional tasks as delegated by the reporting manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance or a related field.
CPA certification preferred.
Proficiency in financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliation
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred
2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, or similar roles preferably in the same industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
Positive attitude
Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic work environment
Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal
Proactive, self-starter capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive financial information.
