JOB DESCRIPTION

• Receive and forward all goods and deliveries in and out of the hotel to the correct point of contact / storage area
• Keep accurate recordings of all incoming and outgoing goods
• Determine which things are slow-moving to prevent overbuying.
• Use the online procurement system to place orders.
• Keep sole authority over the hotel’s central stores with regard to issue releases, delivery management, and inventory counts.
• Respect all health and safety regulations, especially those pertaining to food and drink products.
• In a collaborative setting, help and support team members, managers, and the larger food and beverage department. Provide exceptional customer service to patrons and guests.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous store management experience with stock control responsibility in a 4/5*Hotel
• Positive attitude and good communication skills
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
• Excellent grooming standards
• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
• Ability to work on your own or as part of a team
• Relevant degree, in Management/Finance or related business discipline, from an academic institution
