JOB DESCRIPTION

Create recreational activity agendas and advertisements using publishing software. Conduct inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment and inform manager of low supply items. Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities Encourage a pleasant and unwinding environment for visitors. Inform visitors about the recreational opportunities and activities that are available. Encourage adherence to the recreation center’s rules and regulations for the visitors’ and members’ safety and well-being. Keep an eye on activities at the recreation center and, in the event of an emergency, react appropriately in line with local operating procedures. Recognize potential circumstances in which visitors might not be able to engage in an activity safely and notify the manager or supervisor. Assist guests who are hurt until emergency medical assistance arrives. Maintain and clean the supplies and equipment used for recreation.

REQUIREMENTS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

License or Certification: CPR Certification

First Aid Certification

Recreation and Fitness Equipment

Any certification or training required by local and state agencies.
