JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage and supervise construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and building codes.
• Create and keep track of project documents, such as progress reports, daily reports, and quality assurance logs.
• Help create project timelines, budgets, and work plans. Keep an eye on spending to maintain cost management.
• Determine and settle any disputes or problems that crop up during construction to guarantee that the project schedule is not severely impacted.
• Work together with other engineers and project managers to create efficient building techniques and tactics.
• Encourage a culture of learning and growth by offering junior engineers and site staff technical support and direction.
• Engage in project meetings and update stakeholders on the project’s status to maintain alignment and transparency.
• Verify that all work is completed in compliance with industry best practices, corporate policies, and procedures.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
– Proven experience as a Civil Site Engineer in the construction contracting industry, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

REQUIREMENTS

– Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and legal regulations.
– Familiarity with project management software and tools, such as MS Project or Primavera.
– Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
– Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safety.
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
– Professional certification (e.g., PMP, LEED) is a plus but not mandatory.
– Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
