Transport Coordinator Job in Dubai UAE

JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide meet and assist facilities at the airport to all customers of Arabian Adventures with arrival transfers and co-ordinate a smooth departure from the terminal to their respective hotels. This is done in close co-ordination with airport reps.

In liaison with Transport Officer co-ordinate the maintenance of Arabian Adventures fleet of coaches and coasters with supplier and workshops ensuring that they are in suitable working condition and road worthy thereby providing maximum customer comfort and safety.

To keep an eye on overtime levels and make sure that drivers are given enough time to relax in between tasks, keep track of the number of hours that tour bus drivers have worked.

At the airport, coordinate with outside transportation providers like Budget Rent-A-Car to make sure the transfers assigned to them are completed in compliance with Arabian Adventures’ requirements.

It is your responsibility to respond to the company’s “transfer emergency” mobile phone in order to handle customer inquiries regarding airport transfers, client action change requests with subcontractors, and your own tour bus drivers.

In the event of any mishaps, accidents, or customer complaints pertaining to service delivery, provide written reports and make sure that the Transport Officer is consulted in order to take corrective action.

REQUIREMENTS

More than 5 years of experience in Driving, Facilities and Maintenance

10 Years schooling or equivalent

Detailed knowledge of UAE road networks and places of tourist interest.

Mechanical knowledge of vehicles, first aid & safety procedures.

Fluency in spoken & written English

Should have the ability to deal with difficult situations with regard to sudden changes in plans related to transport.

Should have the ability to deal with customer complaints.
