Logistics Inspector Job in UAE

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Review and provide comments on the HSE & logistics plan for each package; this will include carrying out the required audit plans.
• Ensure that around the clock management for construction operations for several packages are being implemented.
• Provide first point of contact for any incidents within the project site and ensure procedures are followed.

• Take on the following coordinating responsibilities for access/egress control, public safety, fire, and first aid.
• Make certain that each package’s Environmental Plan is carried out, including completing the necessary audit plans.
• Oversee the contractors’ daily operations while they are working in these regions, including waste management, temporary services, satellite welfare facilities, and site support services management.
• Verify adherence to Laydown Area Access Requests and Authority to Proceed approvals.
· Keep an eye on the maintenance and unhindered flow of traffic on the temporary site roads.
• Communicate with the project teams to guarantee seamless cross-border activities.
To make sure the daily security functions are supported and taken care of, coordinate with the security team.
• Offer contractors and other stakeholders first-line assistance with any problems.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years experience in construction projects, 4 years of which in GCC. Abu Dhabi experience will be ideal.
• Proven experience in site construction logistics, traffic management, temporary roads, lay down area, hoardings, plant and equipment, security control, waste management, public safety and signage.
• Ability to demonstrate awareness of current legislation relating to HSE.
• Driving license.
• Safety Qualification / Awareness Training.
• Ability to work in a team, deliver objectives and targets.
• Strong communication skills in English.
