JOB DESCRIPTION

Serve as a key resource for all recreation activities facilitated on the property. Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities, which may include pools, beach, entertainment zone/game-room, fitness center, and child activities center. Encourage, seek out, sign up, and arrange for visitors to partake in leisure activities. Encourage a joyful and calm environment for your visitors. Encourage adherence to the policies and guidelines set forth by the recreational facilities to ensure the wellbeing and safety of its patrons. Keep an eye on activities at the recreation center and, in the event of an emergency, react in a way that complies with local operating procedures. When working in a place where point of sale transactions are made, offer cashier services. Provide assistance in organizing group activities and events for private parties held in the recreation centers. Recognize potential circumstances in which visitors would not be able to engage in an activity safely and alert the manager or supervisor. As soon as emergency medical help arrives, aid visitors who are hurt. Maintain and clean the supplies, equipment, and facilities used for recreation.

REQUIREMENTS

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals.
